About the Designer

 

Hello my name is Chelita Lenice McDuffie but you may see that I go by Chelita Lenice. I am a young fashion designer based in Dallas Tx. A little about me? Mmmmmm wellllll since you've asked.... I have been sewing since a kid..literally. I remember sewing a dress on my skateboard shannon out of my grandmas gowns (since at the time I had no idea I could buy fabric) oooo memories! The fun of being a 90s baby! Back to business. I designed clothes for myself and did minor alterations for my familu since middle school but finally decided to break out when I moved to college. I am self taught but that what makes things exciting because I am very original. I like ,y pieces to be different from the rest. I hate fitting in. A quick background of the name. It took me forever to finally decide on my name Silent Reign but I did. It fits me so perfectly because I have a very introverted personality I was always a quiet child through school and tend to shy into a corner in a crowd but one thing that I was never afraid or shy about is dressing how I wanted. I love dressing bold and crazy and cool because it somewhat balanced my quuiet  reserved personality and I gained attention that I did not have to force myself to get or even speak. I want my line to dress the woman who lets her PRESENCE speak for itself in ANY situation. I love bold prints, colors, lines, and cool aesthetics. My idea woman to dress is cool, fun, CLASSY, sexy, and bold... Did I mention tasteful?? My woman will demand the attention of any room she enters. Reign is having authority. She will have authority over any situation, any room she enters, any thing, any any any because she wills to. BBBuuuttt enough about me.
